A Liberation Academy for Black Women · A Division of MotivatHER Inc.
The RISE
Institute
Restore your identity.
Reclaim your education.
Build your inheritance.
This is not a coaching program. This is not a mastermind. This is not a motivational course. The RISE Institute is a private liberation academy built exclusively for Black women who are done performing, ready to go back and get what was taken, and committed to building something that will outlast them.
Who this is for
She knows something
is missing.
She is educated. She is working. She is giving. She has built things for everyone around her and quietly wondered when it would be her turn. She has sat in rooms where she was the only one. She has code-switched so long she can barely remember her own voice. She is tired of rising for other people's visions and ready to build her own. She carries the weight of generations — of queens who were never named and grandmothers who sacrificed everything — and she feels the responsibility of that inheritance even when no one else can see it. She is not broken. She is not behind. She was never given what she needed. That ends here.
What makes this different
This is not
more of the same.
MotivatHER Inc. has other programs — the coaching practice, The Marked Leader™, the Mark Makers Method™. They are excellent. They are not this. The RISE Institute exists because no other space inside or outside our organization is built to do what this does.
Corporate leadership development
Built for organizations and institutions. Mixed-audience. The Marked Leader trains leaders inside existing power structures.
Individual 1:1 coaching
Responsive to one woman's immediate goals. A powerful next step — but not a curriculum, not a community, not a deep historical arc.
Liberation academy for Black women
Built specifically for her. Identity-level. Historically rooted. A private, curated community of Black women doing the deep work together.
Spelman taught some. This reaches the rest.
The only online institution built in the tradition of the all-Black women's university — for the woman who didn't go to Spelman, or did, and still needs this.
Our intellectual signature
The Core Three
These are not values. These are not a tagline. These are directives — specific instructions for what we do inside The RISE Institute and what every woman leaves with. This is the architecture of the entire academy.
"Se wo were fi na wosankofa a yenkyi" — It is not wrong to go back and fetch what you forgot. — Sankofa
Restore your identity.
Before the stripping began, she was a queen, a builder, a scientist, a healer. History started her story at slavery. We go back further. We name who she was before the erasure, and we do the work of restoring what was always hers. Not starting over — going back to get what was forgotten.
Reclaim your education.
She was not taught African history before the Middle Passage. She was not taught gender studies, Black feminist theory, or economic sovereignty. She was given someone else's curriculum. We give her the education she was denied — not to earn a credential, but to reclaim the knowledge that was always hers to hold.
Build your inheritance.
Inheritance is what you receive and what you leave. It flows both directions. It is generational by definition. Inside The RISE Institute, she builds financial architecture, legacy structures, business ownership, and family wealth — not for herself alone, but for every generation that comes after her.
First she knows who she is. Then she knows what she knows. Then she knows what she is building.
That is a complete transformation arc. That is The RISE Institute.
Our framework
The POWER Framework™
Every program, every module, every conversation inside The RISE Institute is built on five pillars. These are not modules to complete. They are the architecture of who she becomes when the work is done.
Purpose
Clarifying her calling, her assignment, and the reason she was made. No more borrowed purpose.
Ownership
Taking full authority over her story, her assets, her provision, and her capacity to build.
Wisdom
Knowledge as liberation. History, philosophy, theory — the education she was denied.
Equipped
Practical tools for business, wealth, branding, and life. Skills, not just inspiration.
Reign
She doesn't just rise. She doesn't just survive. She walks in full authority. She reigns.
The orientation experience
Before she goes forward,
she goes back.
Every woman who enters The RISE Institute begins with the Sankofa Orientation — not an onboarding, not a welcome video. A becoming. Before any curriculum, she must know where she comes from. Because you cannot build what you do not understand you already own.
Phase One — Who Were You?
Queens. Pharaohs. Mathematicians. Architects of civilization. The full origin story before the stripping began. She learns that Black history does not start at slavery — it starts at sovereignty. This phase names what was erased and gives it back.
Phase Two — What Was Done?
Honest reckoning. The systems built to suppress. The fear that was installed. The way colonization moved from bodies to minds. She names what was taken — not to live in it, but to stop letting it live in her.
Phase Three — Who Are You Becoming?
The women who rose through the wreckage. Mary McLeod Bethune who built a university from $1.50 and faith. Fannie Lou Hamer. Queen Nzinga. The lineage of women who refused to let the story end at oppression. She sees herself in that line.
Phase Four — Now You Build.
She enters the full curriculum knowing who she is, what was taken, and who came before her. Now she is ready. The POWER Framework begins. The real work starts here.
These women didn't wait for permission. They built institutions, led armies, exposed injustice, and created power from nothing. Every woman who enters The RISE Institute enters in their tradition.
The community
A private space.
By design.
The RISE Institute is not public. It is not an open course platform. It is a curated, private community of Black women doing serious work. Access is intentional. The environment is protected. What happens inside stays inside — and grows because of that protection.
